Henge-Black/Natural

This contemporary design is printed onto handmade lokta paper using a combination of heated waxes applied as a resist pattern also known as “batik”, resisting the color wherever the wax has been applied.  Alternating rows of black stonehenge style shapes stack and connect abstractly, creating a chain-like pattern. This print creates an artistic statement simply framed as is, or when used in a multitude of art project uses.
